EV Meet & Bogor Exhibition Indonesia

Speaking to Monitorindo.com during the press conference of EV Meet & Bogor Exhibition Indonesia, J. Trilian Maha Dani, S.E., S.T., C.Ps., C.HRO., CEO of IndoFastrack.id, said the transition toward zero-emission mobility should no longer be viewed merely as an automotive trend, but as a strategic responsibility for the future of humanity.

«“Zero-emission mobility is no longer a choice between technology and tradition. It is a responsibility. The way we move today will determine the quality of life for generations that come after us.”»

He stressed that environmental degradation and the growing global threat to the planet require industries, communities and governments to move beyond discussion and begin taking concrete action.

«“We are facing a global challenge that cannot be solved by rhetoric alone. The degradation of our environment is becoming a real threat to human life. If we continue to treat sustainability as someone else’s responsibility, we are simply postponing a problem that future generations will be forced to pay for.”»

According to Dani, the automotive industry has a particularly important role in accelerating the transition toward a cleaner and more sustainable ecosystem.

«“The industry is created by people, operated by people and ultimately serves people. That means the responsibility to transform it is also ours. We have the technology, we have the knowledge, and increasingly, we have the public awareness. What we need now is the courage to move.”»

He said the movement initiated through EV Meet & Bogor Exhibition Indonesia is intended to demonstrate that meaningful transformation can begin at the community level.

«“We are not claiming that one event will change the world. But every major transformation begins with a first step. Today, that step begins in Bogor.”»

Dani added that the initiative is designed to bring together the EV ecosystem, automotive communities, industry players and the wider public to build a shared understanding of sustainable mobility.

«“From Bogor, we want to send a clear message to Indonesia: the transition to a greener future has already begun. We may move step by step, but we must move forward. Because the future will not be defined by what we say about sustainability, but by what we are willing to do about it.”»

«“This is not simply about electric vehicles. This is about changing the way we think about mobility, industry and our responsibility to the planet. We are moving from Bogor—not because the journey is easy, but because the journey must begin somewhere.”»
